This 33 year old woman presented for liposuction surgery. She had previously underwent breast augmentation with excellent results and now wanted to recontour and improve the appearance of her hips, thighs, abdomen, and waist. She was active and athletic but found it difficult to improve these areas despite vigorous exercise and weight control. She underwent ultrasonic assisted liposuction of the hips, thighs, knees, andomen and waist. A total of 6400cc anf fat was removed from these areas. She remained overnight in the hospital for observation because of the large amount of fat that was removed. She recovered without difficulty and returned to work the following week.
