Breast Reduction Before & After Photos

This 28-year-old woman presented with complains of upper back and neck discomfort due to the large size of her breasts.  She wore a size 36 DDD bra.  She noted a significant increase in the size of her breasts following to previous pregnancies.  She lost much of the volume with breast the but still remain large with increased droopiness of the breasts.  She was also bothered by the unevenness of her breasts noting that the left breast was larger than the right.  She noted that there was a history of keloid formation in her family and was concerned about scarring from her breast reduction surgery.  Despite these concerns, however, she still wish to undergo breast reduction surgery.

She underwent bilateral breast reduction surgery removing approximately 550 g of tissue from her left breast and 420 g of tissue from her right breast.  More tissue was removed from the left side to correct a degree of breast asymmetry noted preoperatively.  She recovered without difficulties, and return to work one week after surgery was completed.  She resumed normal exercise in six weeks.  She now fit into a 36 C bra and was happy with her new shape. Her wounds healed without difficulty, and she developed no evidence of keloids or hypertrophic scarring.
