The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Krieger are both diplomates of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification and recertification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)
Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Krieger are both active members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The ASPS was established over 75 years ago and is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. ASPS Member Surgeons have more than six years of surgical training and experience, with at least three years specifically in plastic surgery.

American College of Surgeons
Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Krieger are both Fellows of the American College of Surgeons, a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.

The American Board of Surgery (ABS)
Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Krieger are both diplomates of The American Board of Surgery, an independent, non-profit organization that certifies surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training and knowledge. Surgeons certified by the ABS, known as diplomates, have completed a minimum of five years of surgical residency training following medical school and successfully completed a written and oral examination process administered by the ABS.

National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons
Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Krieger are both members of the National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons. This non profit organization provides a venue for board certified plastic surgeons from Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC to discuss ways to improve plastic surgery care and results. In addition, they discuss ways to "give back" to their communities.
