Lower Body Lift

A lower body lift is a combination of procedures that can be performed all at once, which benefits the patient by reducing costs and combining recovery time. It provides many of the advantages of a lateral thigh lift, a buttock lift, and an abdominoplasty, resulting in a dramatic change to your entire lower body. On occasion, the lower body lift procedure will be performed in conjunction with other body contouring procedures.

The incisions for a lower body lift are extensive, but every effort is made to place them in areas where they are easily hidden by underwear or swimwear. The procedure removes a band of excess skin and fat from the entire midsection, resulting in a lifting of the thighs, buttocks, and abdomen. Underlying muscles are also tightened, and residual fat may be removed with liposuction. Many body lift patients actually have several pounds worth of excess skin and tissue removed during this procedure. Often up to 20 pounds of skin and fat may be removed.

Recovery and Results
